I spent 2 years out of the county, in which time I saw my hubby less than 10 times (I came back for a week or two during the summer, but spent most of it with my mom in florida so I didnt see him much then either)....so I can say, been there, done that. We survived quite well--though my half of the bedroom and closets say otherwise

...and I STILL cant find some of the things he 'put away' while I was gone! (but in all fairness, I have a few things I cant find from our last move either

)

I know you know how to cook pwnd, just have to remember --gotta use it or lose it!

I also know you havent been together as long as my hubby and me when we had our time apart. It will be hard, but I know you are more than capable!

very hard to wake up today---nice and dark in the apartment, and its pouring outside, guess I dont need to water the herbs today

I know we can do it, heck we have to do it, but it definitely isn't easy. It is especially hard when one of us has had a rough day and the other isn't there. We talk on the phone but it isn't the same.

Oh ya, definitely pouring out today. I got to my car just before it started here. Then it was an awful drive in with the rain, but made it safely and stuff. More possible tomorrow.

Guess the times you do get together will be....very memorable

and you do have some nice vacations in there (xmas, spring break, turkey day), so you have times to look forward to (and plan accordingly

We are trying to make every moment together count when we can. We are already planning Thanksgiving and Xmas breaks. We will be up there since I get more time off than she does. So ya, just a matter of getting there.

Hmmm, in all my time i have had a girlfriend, talking was never really something we did, mainly because i am not capable of "love" or whatever.

I did listen to her sometimes, but it was just in and out again immediately, i have problems concentrating, a lot.

lots of men have issues with concentration with a pretty lady in the room

(and that could explain also why lots of women feel the need to repeat themselves ....)

well dont think we made it to 90 yesterday with all the rain we had (was watching the news around 2 pm and we had barely broken 80 at that time)...crazy weather forecasters.

also not sure whats up with the gas prices....went to a acupuncture appointment yesterday and on one side of the street it was selling for 14¢ more than the other (not cheap gas places either)....was there another issue going on in the middle east (other than was going on for the last .....?)

I'm just going week by week. Easier that way.

Pretty hot yesterday and hot again today. Apparently I missed the storms driving home. Stormed here before I got home and stormed after work after I got home. All worked out.

Gas is staying steady around here. Jumped up over the weekend but came back down a bit. Needs to drop some more. >.>

the problem with my concentration is my aspergers/autism, i literally can't concentrate more than 2-3 minutes before i "need" to do soemthing else.

Haha indeed it does, a conversation with me is weird, i can talk with some one, suddenly think about why hippos are grey and can't lose that though.

That would be really weird if I didn't know why I did it. It would frustrate the heck out of me. Glad you know what it is. And why are hippos grey? Did you ever figure it out?!?!

Nope i did not, that's the thing i get a thought constantly about things, if my autism is really bad (this has happened a few times) i talk with a nice lady, then my brain thinks "I wonder how it would be to make her pregnant and then eat the feetus" but that's the autism doing it's crazyness, i think lots of those thoughts, luckily i am clever enough not to act on it.

But yeah, i get a thought like the hippo one and then 3 minutes later i'm back to "normal" but it pops up all the time.

and we all think crazy things at times---that is quite normal (perhaps not quite as crazy as the one you mentioned azzer, but some pretty dang crazy things!).

so that is azzers excuse...what is the excuse of the rest of the men in the world when speaking to women?

Well, i won't say it's an excuse, my brain just constantly put these randoms thoughts in my head.

But yes, conversations are hard to keep up with anyone.

I know all think crazy thoughts, but every 2-3 minutes?, yeah it really wears one down sometimes, that's where gaming is handy, my thoughts kinda dissapear when i'm playing games, be it video games or football(soccer).

And yes are awkward as hell, but so is women it's like evolution thought "hey, what I would find funny is make boy and girl and let them be so completely different that they would not even understand 1 think about the other gender"

yes, nature is very bizarre to think that men and women are the same species!

most school kids have the same attention span--4 minutes and they are all thinking about something other than what they are in class for (and thats the 'normal' ones too)....they call it 'day dreaming'. When they get into high school they call it 'hormones' ...so it has a name....as for how crazy the thoughts are, well, I dont think I would have wanted to ever be inside the head of say stephen king.

I like to let my thoughts wander to things like....food

which is probably why I enjoy cooking so much.
